Please Stop Punctuating Your Writing With the Word "Like," As to Give it a Casual, Cavalier, Laid-Back Air

This is fucking irritating when girls who should know better do it incessantly in conversation, and even worse when it actually sees print as a conscious stylistic decision to lend your work a "conversational" quality.

Almost invariably you're referring to something that was not "like" something else, but something that in fact is or was.

I'm not a big stickler when it comes to proper English, but this is just precious beyond belief. What are you, Angela fucking Chase?
